John Machethe Muiruri (born October 10, 1979) is a Kenyan football midfielder who is currently playing for Moss FK in Norway . Referred by fans in Kenya as John 'Mo', Muiruri is known for his close ball control and ability to dribble the ball. He is one of the talented midfield quartet of the Kenyan national team along with Inter Milan midfielder Mcdonald Mariga, Robert Mambo and Titus Mulama. He led Kisii School to two national championships before graduating in 1997.
Muiruri has played 60 international matches for Kenya as well as 13 matches on u-21/23 level. He appeared at the 2004 African Cup of Nations.
